Voice of BC's Professional Bed & Breakfast Industry

2 hours from Kamloops on Highway 24, the Fishing Highway, lies Bridge Lake, British Columbia.  This is the area called the Interlakes District.  This tranquil and beautiful area of rolling hills and pine forests in the south Cariboo region, boasts approximately 125 lakes loaded with rainbow trout, lake trout and kokanee. While your Bridge Lake Bed & Breakfast hosts will tell you the fishing in the area is legendary, this is also ranch country, with plenty of trails for horseback riding, plus hiking and mountainbiking, Of course with all the lakes in the Interlakes region, canoeing, kayaking, boating and swimming are great Bridge Lake activities as well.

During the winter many of these same trails are used for cross country skiing, snowmobiling and snowshoeing.  You can also enjoy a dog sledding or ice-fishing adventure in the Cariboo and explore the interesting Bridge Lake Ice Caves.

The Bridge Lake area is an all season playground, as so much of all of British Columbia is, so take your time to discover it.
