Sizzling salsa dancing on a grand scale is coming to Vancouver. Prepare to experience 4 nights of unforgettable performances, dance parties, and workshops at the second annual Vancouver International Salsa Festival, March 3 to 6, 2011 at the Sheraton Wall Centre.

There will be literally dozens of performances from world-famous salsa dancers such as BAILA Society, Cobo Brothers, Proyecto Descarga, and Salsamania as well as regular workshops for beginners and up, and themed dance parties until 4 am. Without a doubt, the VISF is the hottest ticket in town. Tickets start at only $20, and part of the proceeds go to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The centerpiece events are the two Gala events on Friday March 4, “Latin Live” with a 12-piece live band and an international dance showcase, and on Saturday March 5, “Casino Royale – Salsa & Martinis” with a dress code of Bond and Bond Girls.
