Wildlights events and activities range from touring through nearly 400 light sculptures, to wagon & train rides, to visits from Santa Claus & an entertaining clown and much, much more.
Come to BC Wildlife Park for the wildlife viewing and stay late to enjoy the many events of the Wildlights Festival. Match up your unique festival experience with a stay at the Thompson BC lodging offered by our member bed & breakfast inns.
Sculpting Nature with Light
380 rope-light sculptures featuring over 600,000 individual lights in a nature theme are the focus of the Wildlights Festival. The artists use light and color to create displays that evoke both the majesty and whimsy of nature. There are many ways for visitors to experience these displays, including illuminated wagon and miniature train rides around the park.
In addition to the light sculpture displays, the art of illumination continues at Wildlights with a nightly Laser Light Show. Other highlights of this year’s festival include:
- Daily visits from Kamloops’ own Uncle Chris the Clown
- Visits from Santa Claus from December 14-24
- The Wildlights Maze
- Home Hardware Family Farm Display
More information, including rates and other holiday exhibits, are available from the BC Wildlife Park website.
