Kaleden is located 13 km (8 miles) south of Penticton and 47 km (29 miles) north of Osoyoos on Hwy 97. Kaleden, British Columbia, is a small community situated on the east side of Skaha Lake. Overlooking the lake, Kaleden is made up of lake-view homes, many containing large orchards and grape vineyards. At Skaha Lake, there is a very nice public beach and park called Kaleden Hotel Regional Park. Your Kaleden Bed and Breakfast B&Bkeepers will tell you that the beach is nice and sandy with the water having a raft float, making it very kid friendly. For bikers and hikers there is also an access point to the abandoned Kettle Valley Railway. You can either go north to Penticton or travel south to Okanagan Falls. The Kettle Valley Trail is located next door to a restaurant operating out of a heritage building and the concrete shell of the historic Kaleden Hotel.
