The vacation community of Sorrento British Columbia is located on the south shores of Shuswap Lake in the North Okanagan region. Shuswap Lake Marine Provincial Park offers some of the most popular kayaking and canoeing locations in the Southern Interior. There are many great spots for hiking in the various provincial parks as well. Take a boat trip to Copper Island, play a round of golf on one of several Shuswap area golf courses, or for something completely different visit the White Post Auto Museum. There are also many cultural and arts events that showcase the Shuswap area, including the Bluegrass Workshops in late August every year.
