There is something romantic about a log home in the middle of winter, with a delicious hearty breakfast and a wood fire burning stove. Open the french doors and listen to a babbling seasonal creek on the edge of the beautiful Lake Cowichan bicycle trail or join the paved circular route to Port Renfrew and Victoria. Why not explore the road to the north side of Lake Cowichan and end up in the beautiful Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park and experience the old growth forests that once carpeted all of Vancouver Island.
